We’re currently facing a devastating but necessary quarantine but nothing shall stop us from finding ways to kill time with and ways to spend time with our friends! Luckily, technology has us covered with a number of applications that make leaving the house no longer a necessity.
From life-saving apps to ones that keep us entertained and connected, we present to you the following necessary apps to help you survive this quarantine.
Tiktok
Tiktok comes on top of the list and as much as we all might be ashamed to admit, it turns out the app is so much fun and a great time killer, we blame it on celebrities for making us so addicted.
Also, try to include your family members in some of the videos, the results are hilarious!
House Party
House party is an app that took over the entire world in just a few weeks! It is a social media app that allows you to video-chat and play games with your friends, the closest thing you will get to hanging out with your buddies!
Google Duo
Down Dog
Down Dog is a great application for exercising, it will get you a brand new yoga practice every time you come to your mat! Unlike other apps that pre-record videos, this one won’t make you repeat the same workout over and over again.

With everything we’re going through, meditation is truly much needed to help us pass time while simultaneously managing stress. Cairo Festival City Hosts “Wings for Life” Marathon for the First Time in Egypt
Cairo – May 8, 2022: Cairo Festival City (CFC), an affiliate of Egypt’s leading real estate developer Al Futtaim Group Real Estate (AFGRE), hosted the “Wings for Life” marathon, which is taking place for the first time in Egypt. Taking place in cooperation with Red Bull, Ignite Egypt and Allianz Egypt, the event aims to support research to find a cure for spinal cord injury, one of the world’s most severe injuries and the most expensive to cure.
“Wings for Life” world run is a global running movement that was inaugurated in 2014 by the Wings for Life not-for-profit spinal cord research foundation. Supported by Red Bull, the marathon annually takes place all over the world simultaneously during the first week of May, with the participation of professional athletes, runners, and wheelchair participants from across the world. The global movement aims to collect funds to support cutting-edge research to find a cure for spinal cord injury and raise awareness about the risks of spinal cord injury.
Cairo Festival City is committed to host several events and marathons to raise awareness on different diseases and collect funds to support finding a cure for them. These events include the “Run for a Heart” marathon that aimed to raise funds for child’s heart diseases, and “Run for a Cure” marathon that aimed to raise awareness among women about early detection of cancer and supported efforts toward treatment.

His second track “Enta” which is the fourth track of his Arab Trap E.P. sampling “Batwanes Beek” by Warda being the new hit track that stole the show on the third episode of Moon Knight, with the track not only being used for both the intro and the credits of the episode but being added to Marvel’s official playlist, taking Egyptian music and Kaboo to a whole new level on the global stage!
A Dubai’s club regular scene since becoming the 2013, Pioneer’s DJ Middle East champion, he was driven by his passion of mixing-and-mastering old popular Arab tracks in hopes of introducing the culture to a global audience. He honed his music production talents to carve a new sub-genre of “Arab Trap” releasing the powerful “Arab Trap Made in Egypt” in 2018, followed up by his Arab Trap E.P. in 2020. This string of successes led to him being known as the “Arab Trap King”, earning his place among the scene’s elite.
The Arab Trap king was presented with the amazing chance to have his tracks featured in Marvel’s new series in late 2021. Following the unbelievable opportunity, he contacted his manager, Carousel’s CEO Daliah Galal to take it to the next level, where she helped seal the deal. Marvel ended up taking both tracks which sampled the popular classic tracks from the Arab world. Kaboo was enthusiastic with the new series’ potential of exposing the world to a fresh and revitalized take on classic Egyptian and Arab music with an injection of modern trap elements for a new and energetic audience.
Kaboo performed with prominent global artists such as Drake and Rihanna as well as Arab superstar Mohamed Ramadan, with him being the official DJ for Rihanna’s 2018 Fenty Dubai Launch Party and later on he became Mohamed Ramadan’s official DJ in 2021. Who he had notable performances with at the 2022 Middle East music festival. This recent collaboration with Marvel stands to elevate Kaboo’s efforts to explore and introduce to the world his unique “Arab Trap” style with him as one of the rising stars in the region’s music scene with this being his time to introduce the rich Middle Eastern flavor to the world!
